I'd be up for another round in the near future, but I'm busy today and Saturday. So maybe Sunday, I dunno. Haven't seen my work schedule.

XT knows what's up. Screw playing with anonymous dudes. I'd rather play games the old-fashioned way: with my friends that I actually know.

I found the console command that disables the two player requirement (asw_ignore_need_two_player_requirement 1) and tried soloing the first level just for lulz. Got a few more achievements and some XP as byproduct.

I almost made it to the room where you download the flight data. Almost. Died in the hallway just before it. On Normal.

Stephen and I 2-manned the entire campaign in easymoodo. It's a lot more difficult, but still entirely possible.

I was Tech and he was Special Weapons. We tried Tech/Medic a few times but it just didn't work out.

Level 27 (max) get!

I can promote my account, which takes it back to level 1 and re-locks everything, but puts a star next to my name. lol

I think I'll hold off on that until I get a few more weapon-based kill achievements. At the very least, all the non-class-specific ones (mainly those that require weapons that are unlocked later, as I have all the early ones). Then I'll have to not play Tech for a while. Which means one of you gets to hack things instead. Technically I don't yet have the computer hacking achievement (just the wire hacking one), but that one's a lot harder as there isn't any visible measure of a fast hack for those that I can tell.

L and Peaches joined in at the end of one of my Landing Bay solo runs.

Also, the tesla cannon was nerfed. It doesn't deal decent damage anymore, and uses way more ammo (but the clip size is doubled). Only useful for getting the no friendly fire achievement, and for gathering things up to grenade them.

Promoted again, and I'm back to level 15. There's only three promotions, so next one is the last one. It's all optional anyway, it just gives you a little badge next to your level in the briefing. The first one, as shown here, is grey. The second one is blue, and the third one is red/grey.

Kind of an old screenshot (from working towards my second promotion), but check that mission completion time.

This just happened today. If you look closely, you can see that an alien fell off of the level and is standing on the red crate below.

In other news, got Will through the first three levels on Easy difficulty. Deima Surface Bridge went better than I thought it would. I'm hurtin' not having the chainsaw unlocked though, gotta get back to level 23...

I still need the last Tech achievement, Security Expert. It can only be progressed by activating the nuke in Timor Station, and I need to do it nine more times. Who's up for it?

I wish they'd patch the game to make the three- and four-column computer hacking count for the achievement too, since the only five-column hack is the aforementioned Timor Station hack.

I soloed Timor Station SO MANY TIMES to get that Achievement. And it shows, Tech with Flamer and ASG is statistically my favorite loadout.

At this point I have the Speed Runs, Insane Campaign, Outstanding Execution, and Short Controlled Bursts left.

Ugh, how do you kill one shieldbug solo, let alone the pack of them you encounter after the biomass in Timor Station? When their shields are up, you can't damage them, and it's impossible to get behind them...

I've sorely needed to take the personal heal kit (and then use the one at the biomass as well). It seems like there are some spots where you can't avoid taking damage, and there are infinite spawns if you try to play it safe and go slowly. I was trying to figure out how to use the assault jets to jump over to where the siege enemies are at the bridge you have to rotate, but I just kept dying while attempting it.
